So Hugh Hefner slippers worn as shoes are a thing now?

A month or so ago I saw a girl on the train wearing these and I thought she was just nuts.
Now today a woman in my office is raving about how she just found a pair in TJ Maxx and is wearing them in the office.

Am i missing something? It looks like dress shoes my grandpa would wear- but with no back and fur lined.

Or Hugh Hefner's slippers.

And I could MAYBE see if they were house slippers. (I mean they are still ugly as sin, but in the house, if they are comfy, maybe) But apparently they are shoes to wear out of the house?

Yes. They have been popular for awhile now. Gucci came out with them and then Target made a copy that people rave about.

My feet sweat as it is. I couldn't imagine wearing fur on my feet, never mind walking without falling out of them.

Like track pants with the stripe down the side, but made of some salmon colored satin.
She looked like she escaped from the mental hospital to be honest.
But I guess she's trendy.

Ew I had no idea those were a thing. They're hideous! And worn with track pants lmao.

I feel like young people "fashion" these days is so gross. Acid wash should have never even been a thing in the 80s so why is it back?? High waisted no less. Wtf is with serial killer glasses? Girls today will spend 12 hours spackling on their 'contoured to within an inch of alien' makeup and sharpening their nails to look like wild animals and then top off the look with free union eyewear from the 70s and 80s sported by men who hung out in the woods alone stalking human prey or poor kids whose parents had no money. Have you seen these mutants?? It's like "oh hey let me look as disgusting and unfukable as possible and post a proud selfie on insta that will linger on FOREVER on the internet!" At least when we made horrible fashion choices in the 90s we could burn the evidence. I feel like they took every single disgusting fashion choice from the past 3 decades and mushed it together into a modern fashion trend. I feel like the look today is "I gave up 10 years ago".

We laugh at those geriatric sneakers but I could totally see these asssholes wearing them with knee high stockings and acid wash cut off asss cheek shorts. Truly anything goes these days as long as asss cheeks and side boob is visible. Please stop.

I wear sneakers to commute because I walk a lot and just can't in heels. But with my dresses I wear sketcher go-walks. With my new knees, I just can't wear totally flat or high heel shoes for long periods anymore.
