So I bit the bullet and...
got the Swine Flu Shot. I went to a new OB and he insisted, much like my old OB did. It was good to get a second opinion...hopefully I made the right decision...I am still a bit nervous..

Re: So I bit the bullet and...
I was on the fence as well but my OB insisted on it. He felt very strongly that I get it as well as DD. When I was preg with DD he did not recommend the flu shot. I even got the flu at 36 weeks and he was very against me getting Tamiflu or anything like that for it.

Re: So I bit the bullet and...
My ob strongly recommended both - so I ended up getting both the regular flu shot and the swine flu shot.

Re: So I bit the bullet and...
I got the regular flu shot. My preggo sister got both and has a happy and health baby boy.
My OB recs the swine flu shot, but doesn't have it, and I don't have a regular dr. and just stopped working and am 38 weeks, so I'm going to pass, but if I were earlier on, I'd def get it.

Re: So I bit the bullet and...
My OB didn't even mention ANY flu shots to me. I forgot to ask too. Next appt is end of this month and I am going to ask. My OB doesn't seem to have a strong opinion on ANYTHING. It kind of annoys me. I am the type of person where I like to be TOLD what to do! I'm bad at making decisions on my own!

Re: So I bit the bullet and...
I got both shots. I was hesitant about the H1N1 at first, but later learned that it would have been included in the seasonal flu shot if they knew about H1N1 at the time the seasonal flu shots were being manufactured. That made me feel better.

Re: So I bit the bullet and...
I also caved and got it last week as well even though both DH and I were initially against it.
My OB, GP, and nurse friends kept pushing me to get it, and after having a flu scare last week (a cousin was diagnosed with H1N1 a week after I had seen her) I decided to get it.
