I think she means when it is sitting out in the open, it goes bad pretty fast. Like in potato salad and stuff.

Yeah, I was being dramatic, it's actually "ability to poison you" but yes, I was told that warm or hot mayo can make you sick. I'm sure it's a lie, but I've been afraid since little.

Ahhh...yeah, I think leaving most any food out will go bad and has the ability to make you sick. But mayo can be used in cooking - it's basically oil & eggs...

I like the butter flavor better- but i'd use mayo in a pinch. 
I tried too and feel the same way!! Butter tastes better but I would use the mayo again!! It was good!
