so I caved and decided to get a Belly Bandit
I really hope it a) arrives in time and b) works!
There also hip ones and boob ones (the hip ones are made by someone else though)... I didn't get those - I don't feel like my hips or boobs have changed much, but my belly obviously has and I really want it to go back to normal after  . I know for a lot of people, it does anyway, but I have some friends who were never the same so I'm going to do what I can to get back to normal.

I am going to order it too! I didn't use anything after my first pregnancy and my belly did go flat eventually. but since this is my second c section I may need a little help !

When I saw the ad for that in a magazine, I ripped that sucker right out and put it on the fridge! I'm ordering it next month, just so it'll be here when I need it.

It's not unlike a girdle - meant to hold you in and hold things in place to help your tummy go back to normal - supposed to be particularly good for post c-section bellies, but it works for both. I don't know if it works - I've read a lot of great reviews online and some not so great but there seem to be more great than so-so reviews so I'm going to give it a shot. I'm due in 2 weeks so I'll let everyone know if it works after the baby comes.

That's where the best reviews came from - women who were able to use these after a c-section - they found it really helped hold things in place and added a lot of comfort to the healing process, let them stand straighter, walk sooner/better, etc. There were also some though who couldn't tolerate it on the incision site so you may want to keep the tags and receipt just in case you're not able to wear it. I'm not planning to have a C but you never know and either way I think the support will be helpful, but I guess we'll see! Will definitely let you know how it works.
