So I have a date tomorrow....
Ughhh, getting back out there. Don't know if I am ready...but I am still on a marathon high and could use a drink...so why not right.
This guy seems really nice, we spoke on the phone once, and he called me the day before the marathon to wish me luck and then he contacted me Monday to congratulate me. I thought that was really nice. He is a marathoner as well...so it's definitely a nice thing in common. He's also pretty cute according to his pic...so let's see how it goes.
I know I should stay positive...but I feel like I just want to meet him to rule him out and move on...LOL.

Hey, you never know. He might be great and you'll be so glad you went!
Stay positivie and just have a good time- even if he turns out to be a dud, at least you got out and had some fun.
I met my hubby from a blind date, so you never know!

Well - worst case scenario you waste a couple of hours with someone you arent interested in! when I was single I went out with anyone who ever asked me out (okay, almost everyone) because you just never know. I strongely believe that you usually find the right person when you are least expecting it.

GO ! GO GO GO !! He could turn out to be the PERFECT man. - My sister was SO fed up w/ the whole dating scene, was SO close to blowing off her 1st date w/ this 'random guy' she had pegged to be be 'just like the others ' and her friends talked her into going - He turned out to be her FH

Seriously, you never know, go with an open mind and have fun. About a year and a half ago, I said that is it. No more blind dates for me. I had one planned for that night so I figured that was going to be my final one for awhile, as I was tired of the dating scene and all that ruckus. I had enough. After heeming and hawing about going on that date that night, I finally got myself dressed and went. After that night I never needed another blind date ever again.. I'm marrying him in 24 day!!! Good luck, you never know.

Just enjoy yourself and have absolutely no expectations.
I know that's easier said than done. When I met DH I was so   about the entire dating thing (blind dates, internet, speed dating, I tried it all). I was so "whatever" the first few times. Just when I gave up, he appeared. I still didn't relax for a few months
Just go out and have a good time

I am single and trying to get out there too, I totally feel your pain! I am so fed up with dating too.
However, you have to give people a chance, go out with this guy, just take it as one date, and maybe you will click with him!
