So I know I must be in the minority but...
...I don't mind if this kid wants to stay in here longer than my due date.
I know most people are so anxious to meet their little ones that a week before their due date they get antsy.
Personally I still have finishing touches to do on the nursery and am not in a huge rush. When the midwife I saw on Monday put in her vote for me to go to 41 weeks I was not stressed or anxious.
I am such a weirdo. I wonder if this is my inner procrastinator.

I felt the same way! I didn't want it to end and was more then happy to stay PG as long as needed

I felt the same way. I wasn't ready for my pregnancy to end. I "mourned" not being pregnant for a little while after DD was born. It was hard putting away those maternity clothes.

I dont know that I'll enjoy being pregnant when I'm 40 weeks - but I'm hoping the baby comes late - I'm due the last day of classes and would like to get through finals week before giving birth.

As big as I am, and as uncomfortable as it's going to get, a big part of me doesn't want it to end either as this will be my only pregnancy.
At the same time, after having a very well behaved two year old stay with me last weekend, I can't imagine running after twins and being pregnant again She was so well behaved but I couldn't keep up with her. I doubt, physically, I could do it again and take care of the twins.

I felt the same way! He was born exactly 1 week to the day before my due date and I felt like I was robbed one week. I am glad I am going through it again because I do enjoy being pg.

As far as I'm concerned, when it gets to be that time for me, I will wait until this baby's ready to come into this world and enjoy every last second of it!
