So I went to CVS to get my prescription.....
and the pharmacist asks when I am due. I tell her October 4th. Her eyes got all big and she said Wow October? Thats a long way away. then she looks at my belly and says,"Are you sure there is only one in there?" Why do people feel it is appropriate to make such comments???

This is the second post i've read about this. I'm kind of not wanting to tell people bc I am plus size. I have a belly although mine is from medical reasons. I can't imagine the things people will say.

I'm in the same boat--PCOS has left me with a huge midsection  I'll be 15 weeks on Thursday, and I literally look like I'm about 6 months along.

it does go both ways though...I carried very small my entire pregnancy and had more then one person look at me with discust when I told them how far along i was and then they told me i need to eat more...ppl are so harsh!

People are just rude....A few weeks ago I had a PTO carnival at my school and a parent of a former student came right up to me and asked, "Are you pregnant?" point blank just like that! I was horrified at the audacity of this woman! I wasn't going to deny it and look foolish later, so I said yes, she was like how far 3 months? I was like no I'm actually 6 weeks. She was like wow you can already tell! I was soooo embarrassed this lady was such an ***, how do you act so impersonal and think you have the right to put people onthe spot like that?? S h** like that makes me angry!

I am 13 weeks with twins and my stomach grew so fast! I actually have stretch marks already. I had to go to L&D and one of the nurses in the hall says Are you having contractions. I said I shouldn't be! Frickin morons. I definitely don't look like I am about to give birth yet I don't think
