So it's my turn to join a team!
Had my Level II last night but the baby was NOT cooperating when it came time to show the "privates".
Luckily my amnio results were in or I would have been very dissapointed to not find out the sex.
Above all the amnio results were all perfect- everything is normal and fine.
Thank GOD!
That was really my only concern...finding out the sex was just gravy after that.
So- much to me and DH's shock we are on team....
I almost passed out when the nurse told me. EVERYONE has been saying boy. I am having the classic old wives tale boy pregnancy.
I thought Intelligender said boy- though it was hard to read.
Guess everyone was wrong!
We are shocked - but SOOO excited!

do they always do the amnio test?? idk if i got that. they can find out the def sex that way??

The amnio is only recommended if you are 35 or older or if you have other screening tests come back with elevated risks for certain genetic disorders or you and/or DH are a carrier for genetic disorders.
It's 100% optional and most people don't do it.
But yes, if you have one the sex is determined with 100% accuracy since they are looking at the DNA of the baby and can see if it is 2 X chromosomes (girl) or an X and a Y (boy)
