So I've heard...
if you are pregnant with a boy you will probably not have morning sickness and if pregnant with a girl than you will. Any truth to this? Those of you that know what you are having, what are your thoughts?

Re: So I've heard...
I am having a and I had no M/S, but I still try to not believe in these myths. A lot of my friends that have had girls said they never had morning sickness.

My sister and my mom only had girls and I am having a girl- and none of us had morning sickness- so not true for us.

I had no morning sickness with Sarah. This time I was really sick for the first 3 months. We don't know what we are having this time.

Re: So I've heard...
My first was a boy and I had no morning sickness at all!
My second, they are 99% sure it was a girl and I had morning sickness for the first 11 weeks!

Re: So I've heard...
That was true with my first 2. I had none with my son and tons with my daughter. However I had some with this one and its a boy so I doubt, just from my own experience, that its true all the time.

Nope, no truth to it.
I agree. YOu get m/s depending on how your body reacts to the increasing hormones. I think the old wives tale stays because there is no scientific research to back up why or why not each pg with or without m/s is different.
