Was supposed to have my first appt and sono today but they canceled because the ultrasound machine is broken. They are trying to get me tomorrow if the machine is fixed. I was happy to have my appt today because yesterday I fell on a set of concrete stairs while carrying my dd (she is fine thank god) but I got pretty beat up and was nervous about the pregnancy. I also had a m/c in March so my anxiety is heightened. I just feel like I have been waiting forever for this appt. I am almost 10 weeks already

Sorry! Hopefully their machine is fixed. I'm sure your anxious for reassurance baby is ok. Do they have a practice that they can refer you to in the event the machine is not fixed tomorrow.

that sucks! I know my OB office is usually booked weeks out especially for a 1st prenatal visit; so now trying to get you in on days that they already have appointments will be a challenge. Hopefully they'll make the arrangements to fit everyone in once the machine starts working (extended hours etc).

That stinks. Hopefully they get it fixed and get you in tomorrow. I would call back at the end of the day for an update and see what they recommend if it's not fixed yet. I can't imagine they can function for more than a day or two without a working u/s machine though.
