so mad.. i lost one of my earing on my way to work....

i got a necklace earing set for my birtthday from dh about 4 years ago. I wear it everysday i onlytake it off to wash it. This morning i get out of my car at work and i had my bag and my lunch bag on my shoulder they started to fall off so i pulled them back up and hit in to my ear. I immediately felt my ear and the back was there but the stud wasnt. I looked all over the ground, made two trips back to the car followggn my footsteps and nothing. I looked in my shrt in my bag EVERYWHERE. its not like they wer diamonds or anytign just blue topaz but its my birthstone and i love this set! . I really dont think there is any chance in finding it since i work at a school and in about 20 minutes 1000 kids will bewalkign where i probably dropped it.

Oh, that's stressful, I hope you find them! cross your fingers and try to believe in the honesty of strangers- if you dropped it in the school parking lot maybe someone will drop it off at the office? I actually found an earring on the train yesterday, it was a clip-on, looked old, had a bunch of "diamonds" on it (not sure if they were real or not). I gave it to the conductor, he seemed surprised that I gave it to him, asked me if I was sure I didn't want to keep it, and made a joke on selling it and quitting. Even though he had no faith in people to be honest, I do and that you find your earring!

I'm sorry...I had the same thing happen to me; I lost one of my diamond earrings in Montauk. I know how much it s#cks...
