SO MAD right now !!! RANT !!!
I will preface this by saying that I KNOW people think I'm insane, but I'm a total shoe wh*re and fell madly in love with the blue Manolos in the SATC movie. -
They have been listed for weeks at $895 (which I would normally think was insane for shoes.........but for these I was going to make an exception and say Happy 30th Birthday to ME and buy them)
ANWAY, I could pre order @ Neiman Marcus which I have been going back and forth with all week ........I log on today, the EFFING price is now $945 !!!! ?????? ]
As if the price was not insane before (I know someone who bought them in black for $525) but now they have the NERVE to add ANOTHER $50 to the original listing price ???????????
On principal, just b/c of that - I'm over them. - I"m sad and disappointed and don't feel even a little bit better about the fact that I 'saved' myself $900 ........I am SO SO SO SO MAD !!!

I mentioned this to my friend this morning. In the movie Carrie said she paid $525 for them. All last week they were $895.
What can you do? It's basic supply and demand.
They are gorgeous though.

although they are GORGEOUS....I think they will be everywhere and overplayed. I think you should treat yourself to a different pair you love just as much - you deserve it!

ITA - Remember the Carrie's silver D'Orsay Manolos that were stolen at a party? Think of how everyone had those afterwards.

that's BS! the markup on those shoes is like a million % 
I would get them in black - goes with a lot more anyway!

Oh believe me, I KNOW every Carrie Bradshaw tourist wannabe will be wobbling down 5th Ave in them - But I don't care, I just LOVE them - and I didn't want them in black, I love them so much B/C they're blue -

I'm sure Nine West (or another shoe company) has an "inspired" shoe being manufactured as we type.  Just wait for that to hit the shelves.

Who knew that a shoe could cause such a heartbreak,lol. They are very cute. I'm sorry , please don't take this the wrong way ,but I could never justify paying $900 for shoes I wouldn't even pay $500 no matter how nice the shoe is, it's just a shoe, I could never pay more than $300 max for any shoe(well maybe $350 for those)
That's just me, but I hope you get them for the price you want .
