So MIL has the FLU! and we have a family party on Sunday
do you think its safe for me to go near her? Knowing her, she'll go...I'm so nervous cause its down to the wire now!!

Honestly, if it were me I would stay home. I would not want to risk it. I have to say that we were supposed to have a family get together 3 days before the bar exam and one of my family members was sick and came. I left immediately when I realized that the person was sick. I was really annoyed with them because they knew I had the exam and I just did not want to risk it. Other people who were there ended up getting sick.

I am paying for this now and totally not worth it 
My Mom was at the end of a very bad flu that lasted a week so I thought I was safe. I was just in the same house with her, didn't even go near her. And I still got it

Yea, I feel really bad, cause its his Aunt's 60th surprise party, but at the same time I spoke to his mother this morning and she said that she'll probably go even if its just for an hour... so DH is like... NO WAY.. WE'RE NOT GOING... I called my OB and he said its not worth it at this point...
