So my Carlo needs to wear a helmet
The neurologist said there is a possibilty his flat head would get better over time or we could get the helmet and he would be better in about 3-5 months (maybe sooner)
I know its not the worst thing but I am sad since I dont know if he will be uncomfortable.

A friend of mind delivered her twins at 33 weeks. They both needed helmets but didn't start wearing them until 6 months old. They heads were very mishaped but after wearing them for 23 hours a day for 2 months they were both off the helmets and have perfect shaped heads now at 13 months.
Not only did it help with the shape of their head but it also helped to roll over.
She happened to work in a school so she had the art teacher air brush them and put their names on them. They looks so cute.

I know how hard this can be (DD didn't have a helmet but she had a hip brace for the first 2 months).
I was so worried about how comfortable she would be, if it would work, etc. They get used to it-DD did great and so will your DS.
I'll give you the old line-it's harder for us than it is for them. It's an old line, but it's true
