So, my grandmother just passed away
She has been really sick for the last couple of years and within the last month it was really really bad. I knew it was going to happen any day now but I'm still kind of in shock.
I didn't know which would come first though - her passing, or me having the baby. It's just so crazy.

Thanks girls! I'm really just in a little shock still and waiting to hear back from my parents to see what is going on.
She was suffering so much in the end that I know she is much better off now.
The way I look at it - I now have another angel to watch over Jack and make sure everything is ok.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I know how hard it is losing a grandmother, especially at such a "happy" time for you. My grandmother passed away just last month (April 18) and it was so hard. I really wanted her to be around to at least meet my baby...
Just take comfort knowing that she isnt in anymore pain. Knowing that my grandmother is in a better and watching over me and the baby helps comfort me...
