Have questions available - write down some notes -

I have been there when they ask if you have any questions and then I get completely blank.

They will ask you the inevidable question "where do you see your self in 5 years?" I hate that question.

I usually say working here...nah just kidding lol.

Be yourself - Look at them when they are talking to you and listen. I sometimes zone out, thats why I am saying that.

Bring a few copies of your resume with you. Also bring a few references with you. Professional and personal

Good Luck - I am sure you will be fine.

1. Look them in the eye
2. Don't bring up money -- let them do that.
3. Ask questions DURING the interview, not just at the end when they ask "do you have any questions." Here are some good ones that my ex-supervisor just gave me for an interview I went on.

What would you specifically expect me to accomplish in my first 6-12 months here?

What are some of the biggest challenges that the company faces?

What is the least satisfactory aspect of the company? (my interviewer made a point to tell me that this was a good question.)

What is the turnover rate?

Why did you join this company and what makes you stay?

Good luck!!!!

MOST IMPORTANT THING - eat! sometimes interviews can last hours and there is nothing more embarrassing than having your stomach growl while in an interview Chat Icon Chat Icon and yes, it's happened to me! Chat Icon

just try not to be nervous... easier said than done, I KNOW! be yourself, bring several copies of your resume and a PEN! don't forget a pen for the love of GOD! this 1 candidate at an open house I went to actually asked the admin at the front desk for pen! Chat Icon she gave him the dirtiest look. that is so unprofessional IMO.

good luck! Chat Icon

Thanks for the advice!! My interview today went SOOOOOO WELL!!!! They have a bunch of positions at this company that they feel I will be well suited for. My headhunter called me a few minutes ago & told me that HR LOVED me! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Woo Hoo! Soooo excited. Now I have to wait to meet with the departmental managers. I made it through the 1st interview. If I make it through the 2nd round, Im IN!! Not only that, the pay is, um.. SIGNIFICANTLY higher then what I make now. Chat Icon

Wish me luck!
