So my son had surgery yesterday.....
He had his tonsils and adnoids out... And let me tell you he is the patient in the world.. Everything went according to plan, he was in and out of the operating room within an hour and he is doing great!!!!!!!!!!!! He has not complained once, he has been eating like a horse.... ( Soft stuff of course ) He had it done at ST Catherines in Smithtown, and Dr Chitkara was his ENT...... THE BEST hospital and Dr. I have ever dealt with!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to share my good news!!!!!!!!!!! Give him hugs and prayers so he feels even better!!!!!!!!!!

My sils' son just had this done last week too and had to have tubes in his ears. There such little troupers..

Aw! Im glad the experience has been positive for him (and you!) Sounds like he was a better patient than most adults. Is he home already? I'm not sure how long they keep them for his surgery. I had it done when I was 6....many many moons ago I hope he enjoys his ice cream (I would assume he's having lots for the throat of course )

For a speedy recovery!!
Just a bit of advice, really keep on top of the pain meds! The day after DS felt okay but the pain really started setting in over the next few days.
