So, now that they said the baby is growing ahead of schedule...
Before going to the dr on Friday I was 24w 4 d - the sono tech put me at 26w2d based on the baby's size. So, do I go by my old calculations or the new? I know they don't usually change the due date unless it's 2 weeks difference....

I am in the same boat. My little girl is 2 weeks ahead of what i was first told as my due date. They are taking her in august because they are afraid of her getting to big. I was 10lbs 4oz when i was born and they don't want that to happen.

Wow! Do you know how much she weighs now? They say mine is 2lbs. My DH was almost 10lbs!

mine measured 1 1/2 week ahead of schedule but they never changed my date. I also though I would go early becuase he is big but so far im still here. I was a 9 pounder. It usually goes by the moms birth weight more than the dads.

Babies have growth spurts in the womb, so if they measure when the baby's just had one, they're likely to think you're further along than you really are. They predicted my SIL was going to have a huge baby, but he was only about 8lbs in the end.

Hey! Same thing here! My due date is 9/23 but every ultrasound shows baby beer is about a week and a half further along, which correlates with when I think we really conceived. My Dr.'s don't really know though because of the miscarriage so they're just going by the first ultrasound, even though in my mind, I consider myself about a week further along...

So strange...I guess I'll just go by my regular calculations then...I've been saying ever since I got pg that I'm going to go early - let's hope so!

My Bradley coach just told me that there are statistics that confirm this and also, your baby generally weighs about what your shoe size is! My mom's first 3 kids were between 7.10-7.13. Her shoe size was a 7 1/2. When she delivered me her feet grew and I was 8.2. Funny!

My baby is growing a week ahead of schedule and they did change my due date. I suppose I'll go by the new date, but I'm not going to try and get my hopes up

Caiden was measuring 2 weeks bigger since our 20 week appt. They didn't change my due date. He was born 5 days early at 10lbs. 12oz.
