So pi$ed of with RSNY (long vent)
Called them today to get my blood work. I got a call back almost like why are you calling us. The nurse said hardly any of my blood was back. I told her what I was told that I would have results on Wednesday. I said "what about my hormonal level" so she said "are you sure those were done?"
WHAT??? You took 8-9 viles of blood are you effing kidding me!
So then someone else calls and informs me that they vile that was designated for my hormone levels, the vile that was supposed to stay in the office was LOST! The woman said this never happens but I really don't care how many times this happens it shouldn't have happened. So then she says "I bet this leaves a really bad taste in your mouth about our office" and I said you're damn right!
How can I trust this office now?

I went there for a while and was very unhappy with them.
I know people have gotten PG with them and are happy, but overall my experience with them was terrible.

This just really pi$$ed me off..Who loses blood. Plus the fact my hormone levels were the most important IMO

I was an unhappy patient also at the Mineola office before I switched.

TRUST THEM! They are incredible. They know what they are doing! I know you are pi$$ed off but give them a chance! I tried to get pregnant for 2 yrs. - nothing. I switched to RSofNY - Mineola, switched my medication, etc. Got pregnant with my first IUI (with them). Had the baby, went back after 6 months, got pregnant again on my first IUI! I have two GORGEOUS kids thanks to them!!!!!!!!!

The Centerfor Human Reproduction at North Shore Manhasset. Dr. Avner Hershlag. (Actress Natatlie Portman's father) That man has NO clue what he is doing!!!!!! I have lots of stories about him!!!

Everyone has different experiences with every RE.
And frankly, everyone loves the RE that got them pregnant.
But, in the long run - it's who each individual is happy with that matters.
The OP had a horrible experience with RSNY. So did I. I would never have been comfortable with staying with them...especially after I went for other opinions.
Those who have gotten PG with RSNY, love them. And I know many, many people who have gotten PG with NSUH and love them.
And as far as stories....I have plenty of horror stories of RSNY and how they don't know what they are doing.
To the OP, go with your gut - if you aren't happy or comfortable then switch RE's....there's plenty of them around here and they are all doing well for a reason.

I never said don't use them I was just stating what happened to me and was upset about it.
Personally an office that loses my blood and still has not called me with the results of blood work I had almost 3 weeks ago is not a place I am going to trust to get me pregnant.
If they helped you get pregnant thats great but I had a bad experience.
ETA this was the Mineola office

They said that levels were "fine" I still never got a call about the extensive blood work that they did.
I am seeing another doctor next week.
