So.. rug burn on baby's knees... what can we do?
AJ loves the new apt and we got it *JUST* in the nick of time.
She's crawling everywhere. Learned how to do it about 3days before we moved in.
But with our carpeting she's destroying her little knees.
Any suggestions?

I used to put aquaphor on her knees after her bath at night. I think it helped from them getting too raw when she crawled in the carpet.

i think one step ahead sells knee pads ....dont know how good they are or whether its good to use them etc etc but i saw them flippin through a catalog

Take a pair of your or your husband's longer athletic socks...cut the footie part off and use the remaining piece as a sort of leg-warmer but to cover her knees.

I just bought baby leg warmers at target today. They will be great to protect the knees when crawling in dresses or shorts.

i just bought knee pads in babies r us, i found them in the aisle where all the safety gates and cabinet locks are. they are working great for dd.

Wonderful ideas all!
i had baby legs but they were so tight on her thighs  my lil cubby darlin
But hubby socks may work
i have aquafor and i think i'll look into those knee pads.
