So sad - friend of a friends dog needs a home

This is what is going on for those I did not tell: My Neice her husband has a brain tumor and he is terminal now, they live in ronkonkoma, they are losing the house to foreclosure, my neice and her two boys are in an apt. and her three dogs were still in the house. I took the older dog who is a lab/border collie mix, the other was a beagle which she got a home already now we need to find a home for her 7 year old female spayed Stratfordsire Terrier Pit. She is a very sweet dog. She is alone in the house already going on 4 weeks. My neice goes in the morning to feed her and at night again. She has to work now. Her husband is in a nursing home in Island Park- he is only 39 years old. The boys are 10 and 13 years old. Please if anyone knows someone who can adopt cassie please call me at .... She needs to be the only animal in the household but is very good with children and people. Since the other two dogs are gone, she is not going to be good with other animals. She is scared and confused and need someone who can give her a good and loving home. She loves people, and is crate trained. So please time is running out....Their are so many of these dogs in shelters that no one can take her. The last resort will have to be she puts her down. So if you know anyone who wants her please call...Thank you -

OMG how sad.

I just wanted to suggest you remove her phone number from the post.
You never know who's reading these and what kind of calls she will receive.

I hope she takes her to a shelter before she puts her down to give her a chance... that's cruel!
