So sad...

Took a test a week ago after being late a week. It was postitive. Now i believe i got my period. Bright blood. At the mall so i put a tampon in. I hate myself. I was telling my husband i was so happy but in back of mind i was talking negative. Again a summer baby, having to hide it during holidays have 3 wedding next year. Etc. feeling stressed at work, lifting cases of water. I feel like i caused this.

Is it considered a chemical pregancy? Do i need to still go to doctor?

sorry, IF it is a MC stress, life and lifting items does not cause one it just happens. It might not be the end, when are you going to the Dr.

Definitely check with the Dr. Some bleeding is normal especially in the early stages of a pregnancy. I also agree with previous poster regarding stress etc not being a reason for MC.

I had what I thought was a period and it turned out to be some normal thing that happens sometimes when you're pregnant I forget what it's called- implantation bleeding maybe

Go to your dr to make sure everything's ok either way

Could be a SCH. I wouldn't automatically assume MC. I bled and had insane cramps early in the pregnancy. We thought MC but turned out to be a SCH and the baby at 13 weeks is perfect. They can test your beta levels.

I would POAS again and see if the lines are still there, lighter or darker than the first. This is NOT diagnostic though.

Oh no, do not wait until the 28th to be seen! Did you tell them what was going on? I had two chemicals and my doctor always sent me for blood work immediately and then two days later to track my levels.

Strongly agree NOT to use tampons. Only pads.

If it is a MC, there is nothing that you did to cause it. Nothing, this is according to my doctor. It is 99% of the time random chromosomal problems that cause early MC.

28th? No, you need to get in today. They should also check your progesterone. Low progesterone can cause bleeding early on...as can a million other things. I bled bright red with both of my pregnancies, and they were both successful.

to echo everyone else, you should see your doctor asap. they may want to do a scan to make sure there isn't an ectopic pregnancy and also probably recommend bloodwork.

Glad to read this! Get in right away. Bleeding does not mean not pregnant.

Also, negative talk/thinking does NOT cause miscarriage. Don't let yourself be tormented by that myth. Anatomical and chromosomal problems cause miscarriage. Those are not in your control, so no self-blame, young lady Chat Icon Chat Icon

Any update?

I also had off and on bleeding in several pregnancies. Twice it resulted in miscarriage. One time, it is my now 2 month old DD. Hoping for the best for you!

definitely go in. I had this and it stopped for a bit and ended up being ectopic. Had I not gone in, my tube could have ruptured.

Chances are slim that it could be the same situation with you, but you really never know and it's always good to get checked just in case

went to the doctor friday and saw the PA. POAS positive. internal they kinda saw a sack saw a better sac external. there wa alot of blood clots around what she said could be a sac. she sent me to a sonogram place bc she was having a hard time finding on her machine. I didnt bleed thursday but bleed as soon as they asked me to poas friday. She sent me right to sonogram places. same thing hard time internal better time external, but she search FOREVER to take pictures for the person to read it even brought in another person to check. Of course it was the weekend and I didnt get any answers. I just stopped bleeding yesterday. Called doctor today and waiting to hear back. I do not feel like I felt last week, I feel much better.

got a call back. friday it showed postitive sac and heartbeat 31000. They were concerned about the blood clotting around the sac and thats why it was very important to get a better sonogram. I hope to be able to go back thursday. Told her the blood stopped.

Prayers for you. Sounds like a hematoma. I had one and now at 14 weeks it still bleeds every once in awhile but has subsided.
