So so sad...UPDATED AGAIN!
So all throughout last night I was bleeding... Bright red blood. No clots, no cramping. It wasn't enough to necessarily have to even change a pad, but I'm so sad at this point. I had some bleeding at the drs office yesterday and she had said to come back In if I was going through more than a pad an hour or if I was having intolerable cramping. I don't know what to do... My follow up is Monday. Do I just wait it out until then? Or try and go back to the dr and likely be told they don't know anything bc they have to wait a few days to check my levels? WWYD? I need some guidance. Thank you...
UPDATE: just got a call about my beta test from this morning- my level was 11.2 yesterday and today it was 21.9!!! That's good right?!! They also did another exam this morning and my cervix is still closed. I have repeat Bloodwork on Monday morning so HOPING and PRAYING that this little bean hangs on and gets stronger!!
Update #2!----- Bloodwork results today show my beta is up to 69!!! Moving on up!!!!

Re: So so sad
Hi. First off, I'm sorry you're going through this. How far along are you? If it were me, I'd try to go to the doctor as soon as I could. You're going torture yourself all weekend waiting for monday's appt.
I everything is ok
Good Luck

I agree. Go to the doctor. Let them do a sono or something. You will have a miserable weekend thinking about it.

Re: So so sad
Im so sorry, I know how scary bleeding can be. How far along are you? No cramping is a good sign.
I had a subchorianic hematoma. I woke up a few weeks ago (Im almost 12 weeks right now) and there was blood in the bed and when I went to the bathroom it was coming out like a heavy period. No cramping, no clotting.
I went to the dr. two days later and we heard the heartbeat for the first time. She said it was a subchroniac hemmorhage but everything was fine. I wasnt allowed to lift anything heavy or have sex for a few weeks.
Good luck with everything. I everything is okay with you and the baby

Re: So so sad
How come the Dr didn't perform a sono to make sure everything was ok? If there's no reason for that, i'd ask to come in today at some point to get one done.
Otherwise, you have to trust that your dr knows what she's talking about and, sadly, wait till monday.
Good luck

Re: So so sad
honestly, i would go back and get another beta today. i know your beta rose slightly but it is still very very low and hasn't doubled and with the bleeding and realistically, the numbers don't look good; although there is always hope, and numbers aren't everything. a sono at this point won't tell you anything because the beta needs to be over 1000 to see anything on a sono. usually by 5w or so the beta is over 1000 although beta numbers vary GREATLY. that you get better news, but def ask for another beta!! it should be followed until it is high enough to get a sono, doubling normally, or falls back down to 0.

Re: So so sad
I'm only between 4 and 5 weeks so they said they can't do a sono yet. I've kind of accepted where this is going, isn't the first time I've had a miscarriage. It's torture though to sit around and wait for 3 days to see. I just want to know one way or the other. I have an appt with my pcp today for something unrelated, I'm going to ask him if he will order the beta. At least if my numbers have gone down, I can have some peace of mind. Thank you ladies...

I'm so sorry you're going through this!!! But I have to say whoever your doctor is, they should be able to do a transvaginal sono even if it's that early, I started going around the same time b/c I had spotting & cramping and we just watched the baby progress every week (even when it just looked like a dot!). Also they did the internal sonos to make sure it wasn't an ectopic, so if I were you I would try a different doctor if you don't feel like they are checking everything as they should. I am praying for you!!

Re: So so sad
I would suggest a trans-vaginal sono as well. Good luck and try to stay calm!

Re: So so sad...UPDATE
I am sorry what you are going through. That is definitely frustrating. I will say that I agree with Flowerwife...your beta numbers should really have doubled. I would try to go to the doctor asap for a sono.

Re: So so sad...UPDATE
I'd say that getting doubled in a day is pretty damned good!
I hope it keeps going! Again, best of luck on Monday!
