So so SO excited to be back... and feeling neurotic- with a question
I have one DC already and just got my BFP on Friday night. We are SO excited!! I'm in hiding for now but will come out once we start telling people!
Now on to my neurotic question:
I first got my BFP on a FRER on Friday night. DH wasn't totally convinced because the line was light, so he said to take a digital. I took one as soon as I had to pee again, which was like 1.5 hrs later, and it said Not Pregnant. Then Saturday morning, I took another digital and another FRER with FMU (used the same urine for both). Got "Pregnant" on the digital and a slightly lighter line on the FRER from the night before.  Since then, I've taken a FRER at least once a day (yesterday and this morning) and really haven't noticed them getting darker. I have pics in my album if anyone wants to look. Just curious- did this happen to anyone else, that the FRER line didn't get darker for a while? Or should I be worried? TIA!

you cant trust the lines on a test to really give you a diagnoses. if you are truly concerned go to your doctor and request a blood beta. you will have to get the test twice, 48 hours from each other, to tell you if your numbers are rising appropriately. thats the only way to know the health of the pregnancy this early. good luck!

ITA... my FRERs didnt get any darker either... but my betas were doubling very fast...

I wrote on TTC too...
but my FRER's did not get any darker. they were all light. I tested for 4 days straight.
It could very well be that you are just really early on.
Please call your doctor to have the beta testing done. that will put your mind at ease.

Thanks everyone! I really need to just chill the eff out! Wiith DC#1, I got my BFP on a FRER with FMU, took a digital that afternoon that was positive, then I took the other FRER and digital in the box the next day just because I had them so why not lol. Then I never looked back. I don't know why I'm being such a loony bin this time! I've been taking them like every morning and every afternoon. The last one I took was *slightly* darker, and none of them have gotten any lighter, so I really need to just stop overanalyzing and step away from the HPT'S!  I'd rather not call the dr. for a blood test because I really have no logical reason to worry, and I am switching to a new dr. and don't want to start off my relationship with them as the neurotic type! Thanks for all the input everyone- when I finish out this last box of FRER's I have, I'm just gonna leave it alone! I am scheduled for my first appt. on 4/11 (AKA an eternity from now!), so I'll just hang tight till then!

Feeling MUCH better today- took another FRER this AM, and it was much darker! Almost as dark as the control! I feel so relieved!

Feeling MUCH better today- took another FRER this AM, and it was much darker! Almost as dark as the control! I feel so relieved!

I've heard that it doesn't really matter how dark the line is, just that there's a line.
