So sweet
A letter my FIL wrote for his soon-to-be first grandchild. He sent it to me on Facebook (he's a new member )
Peek-a-boo, Baby C****,
You haven't arrived yet, but soon you will and your world will be full of wonder and love.
Now there are two people who will be very special in your life and they will be your Mom and Dad. I can attest as to their substance and character as being
outstanding on both accounts.
You will laugh like your Mom does,
and silly-giggle with your Dad.
O'h they'll count all your fingers and surely all your toes, hundreds of times,
and comb your hair with a hobby-horse brush, and place smoochie kisses on your puffy cheeks and make soap-sud bubbles in your bath, gently rock you off to sleep while singing lullabies that will carry in your dreams.
We're all waiting for you Baby C****, and when you see your
Mom and Dad your going to be glad your here. Mom quite pretty and Dad a handsome sort.
You will be their perfect princess or their dragon slaying prince.
Leaving tiny footprints in their carpet, playing hide and seek or running in the rain.
See you soon, Baby C***** and forever and forever I will be
your biggest fan!
