So tell me the truth....kinda long
I'm out right?
I always always always have a 29-30 day cycle... this is the first month we started using OPK's and I did not get a smiley until CD19. I got another on CD20, so I'm assuming I o'd on CD21. That being said, I am now 7DPO... tested this morning BFN. HOWEVER... if I werent using OPK's I'd be assuming that my period was going to come on Sunday. I am now feeling crampy like AF will be here. I'm thinking if that was the case, its now 3 days before my "missed" period, so I would have tested positive, right? Last pregnancy I had implantation, this one...nothing. Nothing really hurts except my back and I feel like AF is coming. What do you all think?

because you ovulated late - your ORIGINAL date of when to expect AF is off....
how long is your normal LP?

I honestly have no clue how long my lp is because this is the first time I ever used OPK's... I didnt use them with my last pregnancy and this is our first real month of "trying". I just can't imagine my af coming any later than 30days. It has never ever happened.

it CAN happen...just because it hasn't in the past....doesn't mean it won't....
if you ovulated late, your period will come late (as long as you have a normal LP).
We need to assume you have a regular LP - so once you are 12-13DPO.....you should expect either a positive test or AF to arrive.

Unless she arrives on Sunday, right? Then I need to head to the dr cause that would mean a luteal defect, right?

no - you don't need to see a doc for a 9 day LP....that's what i had and i'm currently 7 weeks pregnant....it does not always signify a problem...
I honestly would try to first establish a 'pattern' of a short LP before seeking medical help... If you go after one month, a doc may say it's just a random thing...ya know?

If you have a normal length LP, then you should expect your period on CD35 (14 days after you O)

Why was this sooooo much easier the first time?!?!?! I know I should be thankful that at least it was easy once, right? I'm trying to be positive!!!!

100% honestly...YES!!!!! You're more fortunate than many, many women!
Start tracking your cycles - either on a calendar or on a website of some sort... This way a pattern can be recognized if you in fact ARE having an issue.

You're not out! You're only 7 DPO.
Every cycle is different. It doesn't matter if you've had 28 day cycles your WHOLE LIFE - you can always have a random cycle where it just happens to be longer.
Since you know when you ovulated, I'd say to expect AF to come 15 days after that.
Right now you aren't 3 days before your AF. You really can't go by those past cycles... as tempting as it is!
