So that was another sleepless night in my house.....

up at 1am till 330am then back up at 5am i am soooo tired and was even alittle resentful to go into his nursery this morning which i totally didnt like.

but there he was all smiles and giggles and the kicker is DH is still fast i think we need to have a talk this morning about him helping much more i feel very alone raising our child sorry to vent but i just am tired which dosent help.

Basically my DH knows that if I get no sleep I am miserable and if I am miserable he will be too.

In general I get up if the baby fusses..but when it comes to "other issues" we take turns.

If one of the kids is sick with a pukey disease we take turns getting up with them and cleaning up the mess.

I don't blame you for feeling resentful towards DH. I used to feel that way too when DD had a bad night and I was up with her all night while he slept so nicely. And then he would complain that he was tired!

I'm sorry. I'm right there with you. Our babies are the same age and we are going through this phase too. What gets me through is knowing that this is just a phase and it will pass as I have gone through it already with my 2 yo. My DD crib is also temporarily in our room which makes it worse. She see us and will not go back down. I understand the DH thing too as mine conveniently fell alseep on the couch last night so in his words "could get a good night sleep!"

another sleepless one here as well. The two previous nights we were back to 10 hours, so I thought this had past, but its back.

Leo did not come home till 3:30 AM. At 5 AM, I could not take it anymore and brought Josh to my room...Leo took him and sat on the couch with him for 30 minutes, I just needed to collect myself. If I would not have brought Josh into the room, Leo would have never gotten up.
