So were your parents lenient or strict?
Mine were definitely on the stricter side....no dating allowed in high school  not that I listened

Well my situation was so different since i lived with my grandma in Colombia during my teenage years and she was extremely strict.

I tend to say strict, but I was a pretty good kid, so there wasn't too much arguing. I was allowed to date, but no boys in my room until sometime in college. I didn't have a curfew, perse, but I always had to let them know where I was and when I'd be home.

I hardly ever stayed out past 12 or 1 anyhow when I was living at home.

I was a good kid. Never drank never smoked. I've been dating Mike since I was 14 so that was allowed but even while we were engaged he wasn't allowed in my room with the door closed
We never had a curfew. As long as my parents knew where we were then it was ok. My mom said thats because when she was in school one of her classmates was rusing home to make it in before curfew got into an accident and died.
My Mom was actually more strict then my dad.

Yeah boys weren't allowed in my room either, hardly allowed in my house!
And if they called I would have to sit on the phone in the kitchen with my mother right there (my parents were late on getting the cordless phones)
Thank God my brother got his own phoneline

My Mom was actually more strict then my dad.
When I was younger my dad was strict, but as I got older like 12-14 he got a lot more lenient. We were always allowed in my room with the door shut, never had a real curfew as long as they knew where I was.

My parents were very strict before they divorced. They were a tough team. But once they split, things really lightened up a lot and we had a lot more freedom!!!!

Mine were very very strict, more so with my sisters than me though. I guess they lightened up with age. Either that, or they just gave up 
I was not allowed to date or wear make-up until I was 16. They had a HUGE say in what kind of clothes I bought and they needed to know EVERYTHING about my friends and their parents.
My Dad died when I was a senior, after that, my Mom really lightened up! My sisters had a curfew of 11pm (in the summer) when they were 17. I don't think I had one.

My dad was pretty strict buy my mom was more flexible. When I was a teenager I had to be home by 11 but once I started going to college curfew went right out the window.

What's SO funny is that the parents I grew up with no longer exist!!! They were pretty strict (curfews, time limit on phone calls, grounded for weeks on end sometimes....)...
NOW..... it's like a free for all at my parents house!! The youngest of the 5 of us just graduated today (there is a 12 year difference between me & her! My baby!!) and all I have to say is this......I certainly DID NOT have an ice luge & midgets at MY graduation party!!!!!
