So what are we getting or gave we gotten for our two year olds for their second birthday?
I am having a tough time, since my DD really has so much to begin with. I am hoping I am "missing" something and hope to get some inspiration . . . TIA!

I got her some baby related toys-- like role play things for her bitty baby. I also made her a little dress up trunk by picking up random tutus and stuff along the way. I really just got her a bunch of random things that she was into-- oh, and this:
I moved her kitchen into it, so she plays house and "cooks" in there.

I just bought a bunch of pretend play stuff for DS (medical kit, power drill, etc...) He LOVES to play with that stuff, so maybe pretend play items!?
DS also loves playdoh and painting, so I got him a bunch of cool brushes, minimops, and foam stampers for painting.

Well we already have a lot of dress up stuff so we didn't buy her any - but that is one that is usually a big hit.
DD got a bitty baby that she is in love with. Stroller and some accessories.
She got a step 2 cottage that she loves too.
Otherwise - things we already have that she loves (she turned 2 end of May) - horse hippity hop (and her sisters hippity hop ball), step 2 kitchen, doll houses, dolls, anything baby, lincoln logs, blocks, anything arts and crafts related, tea sets.
Does your DD has a tricycle?

DD will be two in October, my ILs are getting her a smart trike, I am considering a toy that she'll use for next year and beyond, maybe a barbie car or something like that.

we just got him some small things, because there are soooo many other people that spoil him. Toy Story 1 and 2 on DVD (we already have 3), some Nemo figurines (he's all about action figures right now!) and well, a baby brother.

We got him a table and chair set for his room , a backpack/lunchbox kit for daycare/trips to grandmas and a kickboard and swim toys.

Ok, so many great ideas.
From nanny and gampy she is getting a powerwheels smart car.
From granny and pop she is getting a tricycle - a pink schwinn roadster.
We decided on:
American Girl Bitty Baby with starter collection
A Nursery Center
A mini toy grand piano
A mini toddler trampoline
and we will get her a charm for her pandora bracelet (our tradition gift)
Hoping she loves these!

When my Son was 2 he got a playhouse for outdoors from us and a water table/sink thing.
For My DD's who will be 2 in Oct...they are very different, and into different things. Chloe is getting a bitty baby and some accesories as she is a Doll freak and Sydney is getting a Trike...she loves riding bikes. Were also going on vacation as a partial gift.
