So what are we putting in stockings?
Am I too early? Too late? I went to target and walmart today and wasn't really thrilled with the stuff. I felt like last year I did so much better. SS is always hard now, he almost 15 but DD is only 5 and I still didn't do as good as I hoped.

Re: So what are we putting in stockings?
We do stockings on St Nicholas Day (Dec 6) and not on Christmas, so you're right on time as far as I'm concerned!
Each child gets a book, a small toy, and some candy. For example, DS (age 11) is getting the next book in a series he's reading, a pack of Magic cards, and a few candy canes, a handful of Hershey kisses, etc.
DD (age 5) is getting a book, a Lalaloopsy makeup set (was free with the Lalaloopsy doll we got her for Christmas) and candy.
DD (age 2) is getting new crayons and a coloring book, and candy.

So far I got them both (ages 4 and 6.5) - 2 lego star wars pens, some stickers for a special sticker book they have, some new stlyus pens for the dsi since the lose them often, and a mystery lego person pack. I usually put a small chocolate item too and a toothbrush. They baby will probably gets puffs and baby food!

Re: So what are we putting in stockings?
I have a few packs of Monster High stickers for the stocking that I found at Five Below for Emily. She's a major fan of Monster High.
I will probably also do some lip glosses, maybe some nail polish. Target has the Hello Kitty stuff that she likes.
Silly but I always put a new tube of toothpaste and a new fun-character toothbrush in there also.
And she needs socks so they'll get wrapped up individually and put in her stocking too. Lol, I do this pretty much every year and every year she unwraps them and says "MORE SOCKS?!?!?"
