Stupid me decided to have everyone at my house! My DH and I decided it would be easier to have it here instead of going to 3 different dinners in one day between both our families! So about 20 people will be here!

My parents are hosting it this year. We asked them too.
My MIL is having hip replacement surgery next week and will just be home from the hospital by Thanksgiving so we wanted to stay near her for the day. My parents don't live far so we can check in on my MIL and basically go back and forth without too much traveling.
PS, my MIL doesn't want to celebrate Thanksgiving at all, that's why we are going to my parents. If she did, we probably would have stayed with her this time since she will be homebound. She said she'd rather rest and have no company and we can bring her leftovers! LOL.

I actually just volunteered for this today! Having some of the family to my house - this will be my first turkey. Better get the fire extinguisher ready!

Right now the plan is to drive to NC to spend it with DH's family, at my SILs house. I'm so excited because I'll get to meet my baby Niece Sophia for the first time and Jake will get to meet his cousins!

My family is driving to Chicago from NY. We are all going to eat at my ILs house. My MIL is not the greatest cook, so I'm going to offer to make the turkey. The last thing I need to hear from my dad and brothers is Thanksgiving was ruined bc the turkey dry as wood.

We'll be with my family at either my parents house or my sister's house (we're not sure who's hosting it yet). My FIL lives out of town and my MIL will be on vacation in Florida, so we won't be seeing either of them.

My parents ditch us every year and go to their condo in Florida for Thanksgiving and Easter so I'll be spending Thanksgiving with DH's family.
