Friend's house with the kids. many drinks (to make up from the lack of drinking last year) and food, and hopefully the baby will go to sleep early.
Poor DH - he does not drink & is the permanent Designated Driver

wine, mini hotdogs, sweatpants...on the couch.
This is what I really wanted to do but DH wants to go out since we've never been out anywhere on NYE. We are going to China Club.

We always go out to dinner in the city with two other couples, then back to our friends apartment to ring in the new year.

Same thing we do every year, spend it with college friends. 
One of them has just recently started the tradition of a sit down dinner at her house. It's so great and laid back and I always know what I'm doing!

NYC for The Metropolitan Opera's New Years Eve Gala. The opera this year is Romeo and Juliet! I can't wait. DH and I are then staying in the city for the night.

nothing yet 
we usually go to one of the halls that does a big thing - like the watermill or fox hollow but this year we just don't have the money for that.
maybe we'll have a quiet new year's IN for a change - we'll prob get a nice dinner out but then watch the ball drop together w/ the puppy.
