So when you look at houses, or when you did look...
would you go every weekend or every other...or only a few times a month?

we are narrowing down what we like - so we used to go every weekend - now we only go if its something we know we might really like

We looked at Open Houses every weekend when we started seriously looking - but we live in NYC and had a lot of family obligations that were taking away our weekends, so we started looking w/ a realtor during the week - We had already seen a million things and drove down every possible block in the areas we were looking in ...so it only took 2 trips w/ the realtor to find a house we loved !!

We looked at open houses almost every weekend and when we didnt go, I felt like I needed to go...It was like a drug lol....
My wife on the other hand didnt want to go anymore because I was infatuated with finding a house.
I will admit it...I wanted to see every house in our price range, that we could afford and even houses that we couldnt afford...And I saw a few that I would of loved to live in.
Even if the house was scary on the outside, I would go in and my wife would sit in the car. I figured, maybe they spent the money on the inside of the house...80% of the time I was wrong...The houses were just nasty.

We looked every weekend - one day out with a REA, one day for the OH cicruit. We also went out about twice a week with a REA. We saw a TON of houses

i looked every weekend but looking back, i'd do every other. it gets tiring, and you'll start to confuse the houses!
