I will deal with Landon's schedule change... it is sooo worth it to have an extra hour of daylight! I can't wait!

It's my poor DS that has to deal with a cranky, sleepless mommy that you have to worry about.

I agree! Getting her outside will hopefully tire her out and get to bed and be back on schedule in no time!

Being that he's been waking up an hour earlier the last two days I'm hoping this will help us out somehow!

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
Does the 1 hour make that much of a huge difference? My DD seems to have put herself on a pretty good schedule over the past week and I'm scared this is going to screw her up!

Even though we lose the hour, i can't wait to have more daylight hours. I'm getting tired of heading out in the dark in the morning.

My son woke up at 6AM this morning. Does that tell you anything?

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
While I am going to hate losing an hour of sleep, being that I get so little sleep anyway, it might be a good thing since DS will go to sleep later and wake up later in the long run.
I just hope it goes smoothly because he was sort of getting on a consistent night schedule..I hope this doesn't screw everything up

I definitely agree!
And for some reason I feel like springing ahead won't be as bad as falling back.

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
I'm sooo looking forward to it!
DS wakes up some time between 530-630am.... now he'll be waking up an hour later
on the flip side, DH should be very worried.... he's in charge of putting him to bed... he only falls asleep at about 1230am.... now it will be 130am

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
I am so glad more daylight is coming. Kailey usually sleeps until 7am, so 8am will be nice tomorrow. I am wondering how the evening will be.
We are taking her out ALL day, so I hope it'll tire her out and she'll sleep in the car and then go to bed at 7pm like normal.

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
I am DREADING this. As it is DS goes to sleep and wakes up SOOOOO late - no matter what i do to try to get him an earlier bedtime he manages to get right back to the later time - and i have tried everything. Now it is goingn to be an hour later to bed and an hour later in the am that I am going to have to try to work backwards UGH

DD is so hit or miss with her sleeping, it's honestly no different to me-- I never know what I'm going to get with her

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
DS is very flexible. It's ME that makes me dread springing ahead . I'm just trying to look on the bright side because I will love that extra daylight in the evening.

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
I am going to love the extra hour of daylight! BRING it ON!!
My kids have never had any issues with the time change, either way. They are late sleepers anyway, so maybe they will sleep until 10 tomorrow

Re: So, who else is not looking forward to Springing ahead?
I actually like my kids to go to bed later in the summer, so when we spring ahead I just move their bed times, from 7 to 8 pm. Really their schedule never changes.
I hate losing an hour of my weekend!
