So who is running the LI Half or LI Full Marathon?
I will be there, but I haven't decided on the half or full yet. Most likely the half. Who else will be there??

Not me this year I am so sad because i ran it the last 2 years and i actually enjoy it but I will be 15 weeks preggo by then and although I am still running I am not nearly logging the miles I was and my pace has slowed down dramatically!
However I will be there cheering on some friends that are doing the half and the full!
Good luck to everyone doing it! I better be back next year

me too, I enjoy the half.
Did the full last year & the miles on the Wantagh felt endless! However, I don't regret doing it (once!).

half for me! I hated when the old half course went so long on the wantagh! I couldn't imagine the marathon.
Julie - did you end up going through NRC?

Same here! I am already looking forward to next year I think DH may run though, if he does, I will go to watch.

doing the half! did it once before,but i'm soooooooooo nervous this year because i don't feel ready. did a 10 mile run last weekend and it was torture! supposed to do a 11 today. still waiting on hubby to wake up so he can take over watching the kids. i hope it doesn't start pouring soon!!

10 is great (not the torture part though)! How did the run go today...I was happy the rain really held off until 11. I was able to get 16 in (training for a full in June)

just seeing this now...that mornings run went GREAT! i really felt amazing! I actually ran 12 instead of 11 and kept up a pretty good pace too :) thanks for asking! good luck to you!
