So who wants to help me dress Ava & Jack for a very special occasion?
I'll be married 5 years this year and I'm surprising Neil with a vow renewal and dinner.....so SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!  
Neil knows absolutely nothing and I'm not even telling him that morning. I will be getting ready at my mom's and my brother will be picking Neil up at my house and basically telling him "here put on this suit and get in the car". Oh to be a fly on the wall for that conversation.........
So we'll head over to the church and renew our vows (I'm walking down the isle with the kids) and then off to 21 Main in Sayville (we got married at Flowerfield so this is the next best thing). The day comes complete with me in a gown (pic below), great food, wonderful family and I hired a photographer too (I know, I'm crazy but lets face it, I can't renew my vows and take pics at the same time LOL).
I'm pretty much done with everything except I need outfits for the kids. I'd love to coordinate them with me AND also wear these outfits for Christmas as well. The renewal is in November so it could be 70 degrees, it could be 30 - who knows. Can you girlies help me? I've been shopping and haven't seen anything and I've been searching for MONTHS!!!!

Oh, here is me in the dress - its ivory with a chocolate brown sash. I bought leopard print shoes to go with it.

girl!! SHUT UP - you look HOT in that dress!!!  No One is even going to notice what the kids are wearing...
Seriously though - you might have more luck waiting until oct to find something for them. I think that they will have more holiday outfits out at that point.

I was thinking the same thing!!
I was looking around for Christmas already and their is nothing out so I would wait a little.

Your kids are gorgeous and while it's impossible not to notice them, you in that dress, not sure if your guest will notice anyone there but you!! Momma, I hope you also booked a honeymoon suite someplace
I'm no help with the coordinating outfits, I have trouble with that myself.

Lori - all I can say is stunning!!!!!!!!!
Neil is going to be so surprised. As for the kiddies - I would get Jack a suit - they have them at sears and JC Pennys for a good price. I would wait on Ava and see what comes out in Oct. - or she could wear a dress in the same color that your bridal party wore - what was your colors for your wedding?

I'm absolutely no help with dressing the kids because I have trouble searching for DD but there is no doubt they will look absolutely adorable.

LMAO Girls - you are all too much. Thanks for the compliments. I just need to lose 10 pounds so I can actually SIT DOWN in the dress Got some extra junk in my trunk that is a slight issue with the dress as of now heheeheeeeee.
I guess I'll wait a bit longer for Ava, wanted an ivory and brown dress for her. Should I try the little shop in Smithtown - don't know if they carry toddler sizes.
Jack I would love brown pants and a little jacket. J-Crew had an ADORABLE lil tweed jacket but only in black and I want brown.
