So your husband has his friend(s) over...
What would they be talking about and doing?
Mine has a friend over now and they are listening to a french ambient band called H.U.V.A and talking about how boring it is, also they have soccer on the telly with the sound turned off.

And talking about the last time they were drinkig beer and talking about LIRR.
While me and the other girlfriends/wives rolled our eyes and drank beer and talked about important things, like how drunk/obsessed with work they are.
ETA: DH works for LIRR, if that makes this more clear.
