Re: Social Distancing, 100%
Posted by luckysmom
We haven't seen anyone since last Saturday. my husband has gone to work the last week, his job is considered essential, but as of yesterday told his boss he was not comfortable and will be working from home going forward, which they were 100% fine with. my husband had to go out this morning to target to get some essentials but other than that we have not done anything. this weekend we may take a ride somewhere just to see different scenery. The kids and I especially have not left the house since last Saturday.
You aren’t going nuts being home for that long? This is my first full day and I will go shopping tomorrow.

Social Distancing, 100%
I have not been in a public place since Tuesday. My son hasn’t been anywhere since last Friday. My DH went I to work to get his plants on Wednesday. We have been outside every day so we’re not going crazy yet.
Tomorrow I am going to get bagels and some food. Otherwise I’m staying home.

Social Distancing, 100%
I haven't. I still go to the supermarket and pharmacy but I have not interacted with anyone but whos in my house. My daughter has pretty much but we do go for walks and went to the park today. I could never just lock my self in the house I would lose my mind.

Social Distancing, 100%
The last time we had contact with any other human was March 13th when we said goodbye to everyone at school. No stores, gatherings, outings with anyoneetc. My husband took the kids for a bike ride around the block and in the school parking lot nearby. There was a man and his son throwing a football out on the field far away from them. It feels eerie, dystopian, claustrophobic... My poor mom and in-laws miss the kids so badly but no one dares moving from the house.

Social Distancing, 100%
I was just in queens getting groceries for my parents. Their neighborhood is taking social distancing VERY seriously. I was the only one in the store not wearing a mask and gloves and everyone was definitely 6 ft apart. The cashier actually asked if I needed a mask/gloves and said they had some in the back.
Not a single hoarder. No fighting. Everyone was respectful of space.

Re: Social Distancing, 100%
Went food shopping this AM. I bought enough for the next week of dinners.
Last Sunday I went to the library for a few hours.
Since then, aside from today, and Lab corp Friday I have stayed home.
I walk daily and saw my neighbor last night, we spoke through the fence

Social Distancing, 100%
The last time we had close contact with anyone other than the people in our house, was Friday the 13th when DH & I were at work, and the kids were at school. We are getting our groceries delivered, and also ordering take out for lunch or dinner twice a week. We took the kids out with their scooters & bikes almost every day this week, but kept our distance. DH & I are working from home, my 2 older kids have school work to do. I love my family- but I am ready to scream and cry as we head into Day 10. My 1st grader saw a friend from school while we were out today, and he cried when we told him he could only wave from a distance. Nightmare.

Re: Social Distancing, 100%
It PAINS me to go out to the grocery store because I just know the virus is in the air hanging out there waiting for me to breathe it in. But I can't buy food for a month at a time so I just try to bring a wipe with me for the cart, open the door with my elbow, and wash my hands right after leaving.
