Sodium Free Shampoo- Recs needed!
A couple of you have recommended using sodium free shampoo for keratin treatment. Need some names please! Also, which ingredients have to be no sodium? Sodium laurel sulfate? Sodium chloride? I've always used Organix and read the ingredients last night and there is a Looong word towards the end of the list that had sodium in it so I guess Organix isn't really sodium free. I would prefer reccs that could be found in the drugstore and not too expensive, if possible. Thanks!

I really like this one, especially the smell. And as SmileyD pointed it out, it's cheap and easy to find!
I initially purchased the Coppola Keratin Complex Shampoo & Conditioner, but I prefer the Organix one. I haven't tried the Organix conditioner yet, but when I finish up my bottle of Coppola, I'll be giving that a shot.

I usually use the Coopola Shampoo & Conditioner but when I just got it done about a month ago - they recommended the Morroccan Oil MOISTURE REPAIR SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER. Both are Sulfate, phosphate and paraben free.

It was sold out at three different CVS's I went to but found it at Walgreen's for a dollar cheaper, and they were Buy one, Get one 50% off.
I don't really like it much though but don't want to buy anything more expensive.

I noticed the salon I had my treatment done at used Moroccanoil in the salon and on my hair, but I haven't been able to find that specific brand in stores. I'm guessing they tightened their distribution because I do remember seeing it in stores at one point almost a year ago.

I just don't like the way it makes my hair feel. And the conditioner either washes right out or if I try to avoid that feeling and leav it in a while, I feel like it doesn't wash out well!! Heck, maybe it's just me!!
And it smells very beachy ... which I don't mind if I'm alternating between two shampoos/conditioners but I don't like the scent for everyday. Again, maybe I'm just nutty!!

Just FYI - the Organix Keratin Shampoo & Conditioner are sodium free but the others are not (at least they are not labeled that way - they only say Sulfate Free).

It's supposed to be like that.. I thought the same thing as well but later found out that the sudsy type of shampoos are the ones that contain the bad stuff.. the bad stuff is what gives you suds and stuff

I assumed as much but still don't like it! But it's why I stick with the cheap stuff.

Just saw a related post with this question from two years ago - a lot of people mentioned L'Oreal Everpure. Anyone use that? Just trying to find more options if I can't find the Organix BKT.

Thank you! Is there a specific Everpure to use or are they all sodium free?

Re: Sodium Free Shampoo- Recs needed!
I just finished my Coppola bottles and got the Organix to try. I had to go to 3 stores to get the conditioner. Found it at Walgreens in Garden City.
Love the smell of Organix, but I don't like the conditioner. Used it today for the first time and it doesn't make my hair smooth or feel nice like conditioner usually does.
