Solar Power
Does anyone have solar power for their home?
DH and I are looking into and just got our first quote...... We're pretty sure that the estimate was on the higher end so we're looking for reco's from other families.
Any info/help you can provide would be a HUGE help.

Fm GoldenRod...he just had solar panels put on his house and I think he was very happy with the contractor...as well as how they work.

I LOVE MY SOLAR PANELS, AND MY INSTALLER!!!
They were very professional, very neat, took care of all the LIPA paperwork (permit, LIPA rebate)
I'll FM you their info.
  
I'm planning on going back to them in a year or two to install solar hot water as well.
