How in the heck would you know that you are going to definitely get a positive OPK the next day!??! Am I missing something???

I thought you don't start to BD until you get a +OPK???

Typically you know around the time you are going to ovulate...usually between day 12 and 16. We use the CBEFM so I know when my days are high fertility and peak.

DH and I took the entire month of November to BD every other day no matter what. I know I usually ovulate 12-14 days after AF so I was going to concentrate mostly on those days but instead we decided to BD every other day the whole month! Just to make sure we covered all the bases!

I had been using OPKs for 3 months before we were TTC so I basically knew what day I was going to O. So the 1st month we started trying we BD the day before I got my + just because I guessed based on the prior months that I would get a + the next day.

Thanks ladies. I think we will start BDing once my CM arrives which is usually a few days before the +OPK.....

I bded on Saturday
Got a +OPK on Sunday
and then bded again on Sunday and Monday

I didn't plan it this way, it just happened-I will let you know if it did the trick but unfortunatley I have a 2WW!!!!!!!

You could BD every other day after AF leaves. Then when you get the + on the OPK, do a few days in a row. Sometimes when you do the every other day thing, you might end up BD-ing the day prior to the + anyway. There's so set "rule" you just should be sure you cover the days around or on the day you ovulate. I know people who just got pregnant by ovulate a day or two prior to ovulation or every other day the entire month.

Well, I've been charting and using the CBEFM so I know what days I'm likely to ovulate (always CD13, CD14 or CD15), so we start our fun on CD11 or CD12.

But, also, I usually start getting EWCM the day BEFORE a get a high reading on the CBEFM. I just make sure we start BDing at the first sign of EWCM.

Wow, just read that back, and holy acronym city!!
