Some people are totally clueless. Vent!
If one more person tells me to relax I may hit them. Seriously. Baby is overdue, but I hear this literally every day!
1. It's hard when you're already late. Anyone who's been late can truly understand that. But relax because it will happen "eventually".
2. I'm uncomfortable and just done. Yea relax when you can't even get comfortable and literally can't move anymore.
3. You have false labor (yes that unfortunately happened to me last night), but relax you had labor pains and now they are gone completely. Total mind game!!! But relax!!!
4. Relax, but at the same time have tons of people every day asking if the baby is here.
5. Relax, but have people asking are you sure the baby is ok. Are you ok? Relax! Yep thanks for the extra worry though.
6. I've been 3cm dilated for almost 2 weeks, lost my mucous plug a week ago and have been cramping, but relax it will happen soon!!!
7. "You're still here". Yea that comment right that is definitely going to help me relax!!

I get your frustration!!! I was 4 days late with Lara. And everyday felt like a month. My back hurt so bad from all the extra weight and i was congested too, i just used to cry hoping that today was the day! Hopefully you go soon.

I wasn't late- I went one day early, BUT I can so relate to the people getting SOOO annoying at the end.
At work- Oh you are still here? Why are you still working?
Ummm because I just started this job and have NO time off as it is and will be unpaid the second I go out so why would I sit home unpaid when I feel fine and the baby isn't here yet??
And then it was like the day before I ended up having DD and I was having these random contractions, but nothing regular or intense enough to go to L&D and I remember lying on the couch, feeling like cr@p, uncomfy, in pain, nervous, etc and getting texts from well meaning people asking how I was feeling etc.
I remember at one point, taking my cell phone and THROWING it across the room after my SIL texted me asking how I was feeling, and screaming- LIKE SHIT! THAT is how I am feeling. LIKE SHIT!
DH just looked at me, but knew better than to say a word! He just went out and got me my 2 cheeseburger meal from McD's. 
So yes, I feel ya and I can't imagine how much worse it would be if I had been late.

So annoying! It goes right along with the comment I got this morning from a coworker... "wow youre so big now!" I am really not and this woman seriously says it to me everytime she seems me. I think people just cannot think of anything else to say to a pregnant woman.

Thanks! I had to vent because I literally can't take it anymore! Especially the relax thing! It drives me crazy!!!! And I'm still working too because I want to save all my time for the baby. So every day I always here "you're still working"! Ugh.

I know how you feel. I was late and only got induced a few days after my due date because of GD, otherwise I (at the time) felt like I would be pregnant forever.
I tried everything to get him out, EVERYTHING, even castor oil which sent me into false labor...that was a fun night, NOT!!! It didn't help that everyone kept telling me o you will go early...
Try and hang in there, even though the day feels like it is a week long!

I don't know what its like to be in labor, but I do know how hard it is to relax when in pain or uncomfortable and cant find a SPOT. It would annoy me if people were telling me to relax.
I hope things progress fast for you so you can RELAX !!!

The end truly does s*ck! I had a family member call/text me 4 times on my due date. I stopped answering her asking "anything?" DROVE ME CRAZY! When I would call someone they would answer "is it time", "is it happening" or "now?" It's extremely annoying!!! I feel your pain and hope it's soon!

I was 10 day late, every day like 10 people would ask if the baby was here yet. I would think in my head obviously not LOL Everyone is just really excited for you, I know it's uncomfortable, but just smile and say not yet, that's what I did.

yes I know. It's from well meaning people. That's why I'm venting on here and not flipping on them! Lol. But still if I had the baby, believe me you would know!

Every day I walked into work after Christmas break I would get the "You're still here? I'm shocked to see you!" I was a week early, but still heard it every day.
My doctor did this to me too. He would walk in to my weekly appointments and say, "I can't believe you haven't had him yet." lol.
People mean well, they just don't think at times.

Sorry I understand. I may have preclampcia but I am waiting for the results. I may have to be induced on Tuesday. But my family keeps calling me and my sister keeps texting me to ask how I am feeling. I am 37 1/2 weeks pregnant. I am uncomfortable and have hip pain. I appreciate their concern but I told I will let them know if something happens.
