Some People Don't Make Any Sense
I need to vent. My friend (we have been friends since we were 7 years old) is getting married in Oct. She is having her shower next month. My mom gets the invitation to her shower on Sat. Not only is her name spelled wrong but my name was on it too. Just my first no last name. Come on, I have been married almost a year. You could not call my mom and ask her for my new last name and address. No her MOH just put my name on my mom's invitation. Also, my sister was very offended because she was not invited too. My friend's mom told my mom that my sister was not invited because she has a baby and she thought that she would have to many expenses. Please!!!!!!!!!!! Don't assume people can't come. You should invite them anyway and then let them decide. I am so ****** off right now that I told my mom that we are not going (DH would have to drive me, my mom & my sister).

Thanks. I am not sure if I want to go to the wedding either. Since she does not know my last name and my address then how and where she is going to send the invitation to.

Wow-that is just ridiculous! Unbelievable! I would totally say something - in an email or something like, just fyi, for your wedding invitations - I no longer live at home - I live with my HUSBAND and my last name is ....

If it makes you feel any better, my dh's cousin (who knows me well), sent her shower invite to me reading "Mrs. Joseph (last name)" My full name is Josephine. I was so annoyed at that..  I couldn't believe no one caught that..

OMG!!!!! Did she attend your wedding? How could she NOT know your last name?
I wouldn't go either!!!
She did attend my wedding and I sent her a thank you & Xmas card with my new address on it. Even if she lost it, she could of had her mom call my mom for my new information.
