Some people just suck
I was parked at the train station. I come off the train and go to my car. I notice a mini van parked directly behind me and very close to my rear bumper. She gets in her car. I throw my bag in my car and go to assess the situation.
Her license plate and frame are on my bumper. She pulls away and I see clear marks and paint missing. I look at her and she pulls away. I'm screaming at her that she damaged my car and I was so pizzed I forgot to get the license plate.
I got in my car to try to follow her but she was such a maniac driving I couldn't catch her.
She must park in that lot all the time so I am going to stalk the car. I don't know what I could do at this point but I'm really annoyed. She saw me looking at the damage and then just pulled away. I was 5 feet from her driver door when she pulled away.
Sister, you know I will see you again..why couldn't you just own up to it? Afraid your Dh will take away your license?

So she left her licenses plate!?!?!?
Sorry this person left. It seems odd being that she saw you- Maybe she was scared, or maybe doesn't have a license herself?

Sorry that your car was hit
Can you bring the plate to the cops? If you still have it, I would totally recommend it...My friend & I were in an accident once & the the guy that hit us left his plate before he took off. We chased him, but the witnesses at the scene called 911 & gave the cops his plate - they were waiting for him at his house & he got into serious trouble for leaving the scene.

Don't have the plate or I would have tracked her down. My sister in law is a nassau county detective.
The imprint of her plate rim took paint off my bumper. You can clearly see the lines of demarkation where the plate was pressed up against the bumper.
B!tch. I'm not done with you. You are going to pay for the re-painting of my bumper.

UGH! I hate parking lots. If I ever hit anyone by accident, I would leave a note and Im not just saying that. My car doors have small dents all in them because of people slinging open their doors into mine. Drives me nuts
