Some pics from Cailen's bday....Overload, of course! ETA: Updated with EVEN more pics on last post...
These are just some - there are more to follow - we did a lot for his birthday....
I started giving him a present in the morning - DH wanted me to wait for him - he left for work already, so I just gave him one...
Birthday party at daycare!!!
Opening up more presents with all of us!
Then, today - We went to Central Park zoo - but DH took all the pics with his camera - I need to wait for him to upload them so I can share - it was a really great thing - I recommend that zoo for young toddlers - its small and there is a petting zoo you can go to!!!
Then we ate at our favorite vegetarian restaraunt - Kate's Joint on 4th and Ave A
After we ate, we went to this amazing community garden next to the restaraunt - DH took a lot of pics with his camera, but here are a few from mine...
Then, we stopped over at our friend's store - he is an artist and has a store on St. Mark's Place - his name is De La Vega - he used to do a lot of graffiti art, Cailen is actually wearing one of his shirts in this pic.... and he made something special for Cailen....
What a fun 2 days we had - I'll share some of DH's pics whenever he gets around to uploading them.... Thanks for looking!!!

He's so cute! Happy 1st Birthday to him!! I am LOL @ the Halloween bib - my kids are still wearing their Halloween (and Christmas) pjs. You are very photogenic too.

I know!
 Those were extra bibs my MIL bought on sale - they lose my toher bibs at daycare, and I didn't want to get his birthday bib dirty because we were going out to dinner that night and I wanted him to wear it then... Didn't want chocolate cake smeared all over it!!!

that's so nice that you guys did all of those things together. How special for Cailen!!! He's such a big boy.
We're still wearing our Chrismas, halloween, thanksgiving, v-day and st. pats day bibs in my house too. However, I will NEVER put the Monday bib on him if it is Wednesday. That would be wrong.

Its the Tisch chidlren's zoo - when you get your ticket they give you the ticket for it... Its not exactly a petting zoo - more like a feeding the goats, sheep type of zoo - its cute!!!
