I want one! But then again, I also want a sheep, a goat, geese, and I'm pretty sure I asked DH if we could get a pig  I'm a sucker for cute animals.

That's so sweet!! 
In regard to koalas being "mean", I'm not sure what their natural demeanor is but they're wild animals so if they feel threatened then yes, those claws can rip you apart.
