Something I did when my DH's best friend died... Hope you don't mind me sharing...

DH's best friend died at work very suddenly - she was a vibrant, healthy, beautiful young woman who went to work and dropped in the middle of an email.... The tragedy was so intense, so sudden, that it left a gaping hole in everyone's lives.

I made a silent little promise to myself - that I will make a small change in my life that will be a testament to her.

So, I made a vow - In memory of Susan, I vow to take a deep breath and not let myself get wrapped up in the little things... I still tell myself that, and its forevere a memory of her and a change I made in memory of her.

So, I will start one in memory of Rogan.

In memory of Rogan, I vow to stop and thank God everyday for the things I have in my life, and to thank God even for the challenges, because they are all lessons to take me to a higher place....

What a great idea! I already thank God every night for my blessings. Hearing about Rogan's tragedy makes it so difficult to understand how this could happen to them! My thoughts are with the family and I will vow to take a minute during the day when I feel like things are too much to handle to remember how lucky I am to have such happy and healthy babies. God really did bless me.

I love this idea. How touching.

I vow, in memory of Rogan, to count my blessings every day upon opening my eyes. Instead of focusing on things that I dont have, have lost, regret, etc., I will focus on the beautiful things that I should be embracing every day.

I vow, in memory of Rogan, to not let the stress of my life get me so down that I forget what truly matters. I promise to thank the Lord for his blessings everday and always tell my family just how special they are and how much I love them. I promise to wake up everyday and see the beauty of the day.

I vow in memory of Rogan, not to get so caught up when things don't go as plan and to teach my kids that everyday is a blessing.

I thought of this last night too...it is just killing me...
I vow in memory of Rogan, to appreciate every day---sunny--rainy or a storm,
to look for a siliver lining in every situation no matter how bad.
To stop and listen...really listen...always no matter hoe busy I am to my kids.
I vow to always say good night and to never go to bed angry
I vow to always say I love you over and over-especially whenever someone leaves me house..because I dk when I will ever see them again
I will always be respectful of my husband because mychildren are a extension of him.

I vow in memory of Baby Rogan to be more patient and loving to those around me and appreciate all that I do have.

In memory of baby Rogan, I vow to remember the blessings I have - even when they don't feel like blessings. When the house if filled with chaos and there seems no end in site - I will smile and join in the fun. Because life is too beautiful, too fleeting and way too precious to worry about whether or not dinner will be ready 'on time'.
