Something very nice happened to me today...
So, I have to mention this because JT and I have been so lucky between the fabulous ladies on here and some other "angels", and today we encountered yet another one.
As I'm sure everyone knows, Ava has been on Neocate since she's 7 weeks old. JT's ins. falls into some loophole where they do not need to cover it. We were basically in financial hell over this when someone on here posted about free samples. So many of you came to our aid and ordered cans for us, and we actually survived for almost three months from all of your efforts, not to mention all the other mommies who have given me cans that they no longer needed Anyway, as a result of someone ordering us a free can to their job (in a dr.'s office), a rep. from Neocate visited her place of employment. When this "angel" told the rep about us and how our ins. doesn't cover it, she went to her car and unloaded all of the cans she had and sent them to us That lasted us another two months.
It was only recently that we had to actually buy some cans, and I decided to buy them from another mom on ebay. Well, I began emailing this woman back and forth just about milk allergies and our children, etc. When I came home today, she had sent us the remainder of all the Neocate she had, telling me that she'd rather we have it then her sell it, as she was fortunate enough to have it covered by her ins.
I could just cry. I really feel so incredibly blessed. I have encountered some of the most generous people in the last 7.5 months. It never ceases to amaze me.
I just had to share that. I really felt like you girls would appreciate that as much as I did. I try not to forget when I'm feeling crappy that there are so many things in my life that I am truly grateful for
