Song Questions
Is there a song you like that makes you really "feel" the song, even if the theme of the song doesn't pertain to you?
Example: I love the song "If You Could Read My Mind" my favorite version is the one Gordon Lightfoot sings. The only time I "feel" the song is when it's by him. It's such a sad song, but I'm not sad at all and normally I woudn't even listen to a sad song. He sings it so well it makes me want to be sad so I can sing it, lol. Does this make any sense?
On the other side, are there any songs that make you emotional (or just verklempt(sp?)) for no reason?
I get that when I listen to the theme song for The Office and How I met Your Mother, lol... I can't figure it out.

Re: Song Questions
Strangely enough I have a few of those, mostly seventies classics
The New York Mining Disaster 1941 by the Bee Gees. Its really tragic, Anything by the Carpenters (Karens voice is so tragic, and the tragic circumstances of her life make them all even more so) And Alone Again by Gilbert O'Sullivan. So sad....

Re: Song Questions
That Nickelback song that is used for the carseat safety video on youtube of the little boy that died in a car accident. I don' t know the name of the song. I never even saw the band's video, I only know the video of that little boy. Whenever I hear that song I start to cry - it happened in Walgreens the other day.
