You don't need to be strong right now. You have every right to be sad/mad and grieve. I know how badly you and your DH wanted this and how long you were trying for. My heart is breaking for you both. If you need anything at all, we're all here for you

Thanks Jenn. I'm trying to hold on till Monday to try and have hope, but in my heart i know it's over.

I'm so sorry! It's good to still have hope because you just never know. I've been there before and know how horrible this can be. Please hang in there and lean on us as you need. We are all here to help see you through to eventually your healthy baby!!!

Thank you all. I actually read a lot about this over the past few days and it's very common. I heard great success stories that other women were 7 weeks pregnant and the doctor told them the same thing, that there was an empty sac and that it would have probably be a bad pregnancy and then all of a sudden at 8 or 9 weeks there was a heartbeat and they could see the baby now. I'm trying hard to keep some hope it's just hard. But after reading this it

Did help.
After my last week of slow rising numbers I have realized that my early monitoring by my RE kept me safe (ectopic pregnancy increases with IVF) and kept a watch on progesterone which is necessary. Beyond that some of this monitoring so early, so frequently and with such dark predictions I realize has a touch of insanity to it. Other woman aren't seen until 8 weeks! So much can happen... And for the better... This early on.
I have been secretly praying that your dr is wrong based on things I've seen on other boards. I am praying so hard for you!!!!!!!
